Emre Can's recovery from a back injury is ongoing but there is no timeframe for the Liverpool midfielder's return to action, according to the club.
Can was forced off against Watford on March 17 due to the issue and has not played for club or country since.
“That is not in the best place,” Jürgen Klopp told Liverpoolfc.com when asked for an update on Can ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League clash with Manchester City.
“[He is receiving] treatment and we’re still hoping it will be a little bit quicker than maybe we thought in the first moment. But we cannot say anything else.”
