Harry Maguire has beaten Mahrez , Vardy and others to win Leicester City player of the season

Harry Maguire has been named the Leicester City player of the season. Maguire received two of the seven prizes on offer.

The England centre back, 25, joined the Foxes from Hull City in the summer of 2017 and has been ever-present in the top flight for Claude Puel’s men this term.

As well as a succession of sterling defensive displays, Sheffield-born Maguire has also scored two league goals, including his memorable last-ditch strike during a 2-2 draw with Manchester United in December.
