It was reported that Dani Alves might miss the world cup in Brazil, following an injury.
The Brazilian suffered a ACL during the Coupe De France cup on Tuesday against Vendée Herbiers Foot, which saw Unai Emery side retain the cup.
The club have stated that Alves, who joined from Juventus in 2016 will require a surgery, so as to make the procedure quicker, maybe he might make the Brazil squad for Russia 2018.
The statement from Paris Saint German reads: "PSG's medical staff, in conjunction with the Brazil National Team, have determined that, given the time constraints ahead of the World Cup, knee surgery is the best option for Dani Alves"
