Update: Senate declares IGP Ibrahim Idris
The senate has declared the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, an Enemy of Democracy not worthy of holding any public office within and outside Nigeria.

The senate had an executive session shortly after the police chief failed to honor their invitation today for the third time where he was expected to answer questions on Dino Melaye's arrest and the recent killings in the country.
