The Super Eagles of Nigeria have arrived in Port Harcourt ahead of their World Cup warm-up match against DR Congo. The Eagles entered into Port Harcourt fresh from their training camp setup in Uyo with high hopes for the friendly.

The clash, which is set to take place at the Adokiye Amiesimake Stadium will be the seventh time the Super Eagles will clash with the Leopards of Congo on the international scene. The clash will also serve as a final chance for some of Gernot Rohr’s fringe players to prove themselves worthy of a World Cup place in Russia to represent Nigeria.

At the arrival, a pair of lucky fans got to meet & greet William Troost-Ekong, while sharing a Coke with a number of Super Eagles players, during a quick Coca-Cola ball signing session. Other players to partake in the signing were Super Eagles Captain, John Obi Mikel, Super Eagles veteran, Chinedu Onazi, Premier League side Brighton Hove & Albion signee, Leon Balogun, Chelsea Youngster, Ola Aina, LaLiga player, Oghenekaro Etebo, Portuguese side Benfica signee, Tyrone Ebuehi, Joel Obi, Odion Ighalo and Junior Lokosa.
