Report claim that Borussia Dortmund defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos is close to joining the Gunners, following the additions of Swiss defender Stephan Lichtsteiner and German goalkeeper Bernd Leno.
Sokratis Papastathopoulos, commonly known by the singular name Sokratis, is a Greek professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund and the Greek national team.
The club are still expected to land Uruguay midfielder Lucas Torreira from Sampdoria, and it appears that the Unai Emery revamp continues at pace.
