Brazil pose for official team photo ahead of World Cup in Russia as Fred and Willian sit together for squad snap. 

Brazil have shared their official World Cup squad photo.

The pictured was posted online by the team's official Twitter account along with the message: 'It's time, Braseeeeeel. Oh my heart!!!'

All 23 members of the Brazil squad featured in full kit, while the members of backroom staff filled the second row wearing white polo shirts.

New Manchester United signing Fred was seen sat on the front row a day after suffering an injury scare in training.

Fred missed the second half of Thursday's session with an ice pack on his right ankle after being caught by a sliding tackle from Casemiro.

The £52million midfielder was sat next to Willian after the Chelsea winger tipped him to shine at United following his move from Shakhtar Donetsk.

Asked earlier this week whether 25-year-old Fred can make an impact at Old Trafford, Willian replied: 'Of course, no doubt about that. He has a lot of qualities.

'He can improve (them) a lot. He goes to one of the best teams in the world. I am happy for him. I hope he does well at Manchester United.'

Willian added: 'He is very happy to come to the Premier League to play. We talked a little bit about that.

'He is excited to start but now is the time to think about the World Cup. I think he is very happy but now it is time to think about national team.'

Brazil play Austria in their final warm-up game on Sunday before starting their World Cup campaign in Russia with a match against Switzerland on June 17. 

Fred featured in the team photo a day after picking up an injury in a Brazil training session.
