Pique was in Germany overnight after watching his long-term partner Shakira in concert.
He explained that the robbery took place overnight with his parents at his home in the town of Esplugues de Llobregat, five miles outside of Barcelona. He added that no arrests had been made.
Spanish reports state that the thieves left no fingerprints and took luxury watches and jewellery having timed the break-in to coincide with a storm.
The 31-year-old was in Cologne, watching his partner of eight years as she performed on the latest leg of her world tour.
Pique and his national team-mates arrived in Krasnodar on Thursday, their training base for the duration of their stay in Russia.
They face Tunisia on Saturday in their final warm-up game before a grudge match against neighbours Portugal on June 15 to kick-start their campaign in Group B.
