Jack Wilshere has jetted out of the country and gone on holiday to gather his thoughts and plot his next career move.
The 26-year-old is currently contemplating his future after announcing this week he would be leaving Arsenal after 17 years at the club when his contract expires at the end of this month.
Wilshere had been offered improved terms at the Emirates but opted to snub the deal amid concerns he would become a peripheral figure under new boss Unai Emery.
In a post on his Instagram on Friday morning, Wilshere wrote: 'A big few weeks in my life coming up. We will make the right decision for me and football, but with good people around me.'
The midfielder revealed this week he would have accepted a pay cut to stay at Arsenal, but decided to leave after it was made clear by Emery that he could not be guaranteed regular first-team football.
Wolves, West Ham and Everton are among the clubs who will offer Wilshere a deal in the coming weeks.
