Teen actress Regina Daniels bags Igbinedion University award

Popular Nollywood teenage actress, Regina Daniels, has bagged awards for the Most Outstanding Student and Face of Mass Communication Department of Igbinedion University, Okada, Benin.

The 17 year old, currently a 200 level student, began acting at the age of seven; she shared the news on her Instagram page @reginadaniels.
She wrote: “My mother says beauty without brain is zero, but beauty with brain can make you conquer the world.

“Education is a key to knowledge and knowledge is the key to success. I am proud to announce my award as the face of my department and most outstanding student in my department level.


“I thank God for giving me the brain to carry both my career and my education, not making me drop one for another.

“This award goes to God and my Mother for always been there to educate me and of course to my fans. Thank you all.”

News Agency of Nigeria reports that Daniels has been regarded as the most prolific child actresses in the film industry and she is gradually gaining traction as an adult performer.

She is the lead character in the movie: ‘Never too young to Fall in Love” and “The Player”.

The Delta State born actress was nominated for the ‘Most Promising Actress of the Year’ at the 2016 City Peoples Awards.

The same year, she was also nominated for ‘Best Supporting Actress’ and eventually won the ‘Upcoming Actress of the Year’ in 2017.

The teenager is an ambassador to sports betting company, Merry Bet.
