Swansea have completed a deal with Fenerbahce for the season long loan of Andre Ayew.
The attacker will arrive in Turkey for the coming season, as he left Swansea's pre-season tour of Austria to complete his medical examinations.
The 28-year-old only signed for the club in January from West Ham United, but their relegation means that he sought a move away this summer.
And Swansea's new manager Graham Potter understood his situation.
"I understand the circumstances of the move - it's part of the restructure of us going forward," Potter told the club website.
"From my perspective he has been brilliant. He has applied himself in training, supported what we are trying to do and been very professional. He has been a joy to work with and we wish him the best."
