Chelsea pull out of the race to sign Higuain

Chelsea have pulled back from negotiations for Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain.

Chelsea and Juve have been in talks for the Argentina international since the end of last season.


However, Italian transfer market expert Gianluca di Marzio reports Chelsea have not spoken with Juve for several days about Higuain. It's suggested Chelsea will not push Juve to drop their current asking price and instead focus elsewhere.

That leaves the door open to AC Milan, where Higuain and Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata are both under consideration.




Juve are mooted to be demanding €60m to sell Higuain this summer.
