Chelsea release eight players, see their names

Chelsea have announced that no less than eight players have left the club following the expiry of their contracts at Stamford Bridge.
Goalkeepers Matej Delac and Mitchell Beeney, defenders Wallace, Isaac Christie-Davies and Cole Dasilva, midfielder Jordan Houghton and attackers Tushuan Walters and Harvey St Clair have all departed.

Bosnian keeper Delac was the longest serving player at Stamford Bridge after agreeing to join the club in 2009. The 25-year-old failed to make a single appearance for The Blues following some difficulties with his Visa and has now joined Danish club AC Horsens.

Fellow goalkeeper Beeney has spent time on loan at Newport County, Crawley Town and Sligo Rovers in recent seasons and has joined the latter on a permanent basis as a free agent.

Attacking ace St Clair has played his part for The Blues at Under-18 and Under 23 levels in recent times but has also left The Bridge and will spend next season in Italy with second tier side Venezia.

Wallace, Christie-Davies, Dasilva, Houghton and Walters have all ended their stays in South West London but are yet to find new clubs. It is thought that some of those players have interest from some clubs from around the world.
