Nigerian striker Taiwo Awoniyi has completed a season-long loan move from the English side Liverpool FC to Belgian outfit, KAA Gent.
The 20-year old Awoniyi is no stranger in Belgium.
He played last season at Excelsior Mouscron also on loan and did very well there.
In 31 matches, he scored 10 goals and gave 7 assists.
Also against the Buffalos, he proved his worth: he gave the assist for the equalizer of Mouscron at the Gent 3-2 defeat at Le Cannonier and he scored the 1-1 at the Ghelamco Arena with the 3-1 victory of the Buffalo's later that season.
Awoniyi has represented Nigeria several times at the youth levels.
He was in the Nigeria U17 2013 World Cup winning side, he has also played for the U20 and U23; scoring 11 goals in 23 games.
