French striker Kylian Mbappe is sure having the last laugh as he has hit back at England fans who told him football was coming home.
The teenage sensation, who has scored three times in his country’s run to the finals in Moscow, has sent a stinging message to English fans who he claims have been insulting him on social media.
Mbappe wrote on in a message on his Instagram account: ‘It’s coming home. Impossible.
‘I’m sorry… because I love England but for those who sent me stupid messages and insults till now… you deserve this answer now!’
With England left to settle for a 3rd place playoff against Belgium, the French striker and his teammates are looking forward to Sunday’s final contest with Croatia as they hope to secure their second World Cup triumph.
The PSG starlet has been be a key man as Didier Deschamps’ side line up against Croatia in the final. He tore Argentina apart in the last-16 and made impactful contributions in both the quarter-final and semi-final.
