Moses and Aina makes Chelsea squad for pre-season as Omeruo misses out

Chelsea Football Club have released their squad number for the 2018-19 Premier League season as Super Eagles defender misses out.

Nigerian trio of Victor Moses and Ola Aina will keep the jersey numbers they wore last campaign and Kenneth Omeruo's name has not been added to Blues first-team list by the club official website.

The FA Cup winner Moses who participated in the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia retain his number 15 shirt he has worn since his return to Stamford Bridge for last two years.

Aina sported the number 34 jersey when he made his debut for the dethroned Premier League Champions against Bristol Rovers in August 2016 and has been handed that same number for pre-season training before the trip to Australia.

Omeruo who has yet to make a debut for Chelsea in his six years on the books West London outfit with speculation that he is set for another on loan move before the end of the transfer window with Belgium side Gent intersested in Nigerian center-back.

His impressive performances in Russia only helped to increase interests from several clubs in Europe.
