Manchester City have agreed a £10million deal with Southampton for England under-21 goalkeeper Angus Gunn.

The Saints are due to unveil their new capture after agreeing a fee which could see the final fee rise to around £15million.

Southampton moved for the Norwich-born youngster – son of former Canaries and Scotland keeper Bryan Gunn – when it became clear that he wanted to carry on playing first team football after an impressive spell at Carrow Road.

He played all 46 matches in the Championship last season, as well as appearing five domestic cup games
