Super Eagles’ Head Coach, Gernot Rohr, has promised to lead Nigeria to conquer Africa and win the 2019 African Cup of Nations which will take place in Cameroon in Caemroun in about a year’s time. Rohr also reiterated his commitment to Nigeria, stressing he never contemplate dumping the country following Super Eagles’ early exit at the Russia 2018 World Cup.
The German was speaking after speculations continued to link him with the vacant managerial post for the Algerian national team and reaffirmed his focus on leading Nigeria to its fourth AFCON glory next year. Although Nigeria had a faltering start after losing 2-0 to South Africa in Matchday 1 of the qualifiers, the 67-year-old former Bayern Minuch defender declared he was ready to have the nation’s qualification back under track when they battle Seychelles in September.
