Super Eagles of Nigeria ranked ahead of Germany in World Cup squad

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have been rated as the 20th best team at the just concluded 2018 World Cup in Russia.

The Super Eagles who failed to make it beyond the group stage are just after former champions Germany (19th), among the 32 participating teams at the Mundial.

Senegal, expectedly, are the highest ranked African team and the highest-ranked team among those that failed to go beyond the group stage.

The Teranga Lions were bitterly knocked out with the controversial Fair Play rule in the First Round.

Morocco, Tunisia and Egypt; Africa's other representative at the Mundial were ranked 27, 30th and 31st respectively.

Panama sit at the bottom of the rankings of the 32 teams that were in Russia.
