Manchester City's stars are heading out on their pre-season tour of America and there was a surprise face among the squad as Joe Hart looks set to travel out.
The goalkeeper has endured a tough couple of seasons since Pep Guardiola's arrival, having been loaned out to Torino and then West Ham last season, before missing out on a place in England's World Cup squad.
City were also joined by a host of younger squad members as well as new club-record signing, Riyad Mahrez, who will make his debut after the £60million transfer from Leicester City.

The Manchester City squad were seen arriving at Manchester airport on Tuesday as they get ready to head out to the United States.

With a number of key figures missing due to their World Cup exploits, Guardiola has initially taken a younger squad with him, including English talent, Phil Foden.

Riyad Mahrez was among the big names to have travelled, having finally sealed a move to Man City after a transfer saga that played out over several windows.

But it was Joe Hart's involvement that will raise the most eyebrows. The 'keeper has insisted he would leave the Etihad this summer following two loan spells away from the club.

With No 1, Ederson, on holiday following Brazil's World Cup campaign, Hart could get a final chance to play in goal for Guardiola during pre-season.

Hart has not had significant interest in his services after a disappointing year with West Ham and could be content with ousting Claudio Bravo as Guardiola's No 2.

The Premier League champions will play three matches stateside before returning to England for their Community Shield clash with Chelsea.

While in America, they will face Borussia Dortmund, Liverpool and Bayern Munich in three separate cities as part of the International Champions Cup.
