Old Trafford legend singles out the Swede for his 'slow' recovery and bizarre judgement as Seagulls triumph 3-2.

PAUL SCHOLES singled out "slow" and "crazy" Victor Lindelof for disastrous defending as Manchester United crashed 3-2 at Brighton.

The Sweden centre-back was dozing for Glenn Murray's stylish opener  when Shane Duffy slammed an instant second.

Romelu Lukaku replied but Pascal Gross' penalty put the Seagulls' 3-1 up at the break after Eric Bailly's clumsy challenge on the same player.

Paul Pogba's late spot-kick failed to either save United from defeat or hide their huge weaknesses at the back that so clearly frustrated boss Jose Mourinho on the sidelines.

And BT Sport pundit Scholes punched another hole in the United defence - with his searing criticism of Vindelof.

Former England midfielder Scholes said of Murray's opener: "I think the bad reaction there is from Lindelof.

"Once that ball goes into the middle he has to come across and close that space.

"He’s gone [wide] to receive the ball, look how slow he is getting back. He’s even thinking of playing offside there, which is crazy"Once that ball goes into the middle he has to come across and close that space.
