Just In: Senator Akpabio’s personal aides resign

Four personal aides to former Akwa Ibom state governor now Senate Minority Leader, Senator Godswill Akpabio, have tendered their resignation letters. The four aides of the Senator representing Akwa Ibom North West Senatorial District, are also the representatives of the four federal constituencies of Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District.

Led by Barr. Utibe Nwoko, Senior Legislative Aide, others are; Chief (Barr) Moses Akpan, Kufre Ini-ima, Prince Ukandu Ukpe.



They disassociated themselves from any planned defection of the Senator to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and pledged their unalloyed support to the reelection of Governor Udom Emmanuel in 2019 and the PDP.
