Paul Pogba celebrates his mother with emotional birthday message

PAUL POGBA paid an emotional tribute to his mum on her birthday by declaring her "the best trophy I can have".

The France World Cup winner uploaded a picture of himself hugging a teary Yeo after his triumph over Croatia in the summer.

He captioned it: "🎂 Having my mum is the best trophy I can have, way better than the World Cup trophy, bon anniversaire maman 🎂"

Manchester United star Pogba, 25, puts family first and often pays homage to his mum and late dad Antoine, who died last May aged 79.


He once joked when asked whether he was dating anyone: "No, my girlfriend's my mum."

Pogba and older brothers Mathias and Florentin were raised by Yeo - who separated from Antoine in 1996 - in a council flat in Paris.
