Adama Traore has completed a move to Premier League newcomers Wolverhampton Wanderers from Middlesbrough for £18 million for the club record fee.


The 22-year-old forward becomes the fifth new signing at Molineux this summer ahead of their return to the Premier League as he pens a five-year contract with club announced of their official website.

Wolves coach Nuno Espirito Santo brought goalkeeper Rui Patricio, defender Jonny Castro Otto, midfielder Joao Moutinho and forward Raul Jimenez into the club.

Traore spent the last two seasons at the Riverside Stadium, scoring five goals and providing 10 assists in the last campaign to be voted Middlesbrough's Player of the Season.

A product of the Barcelona youth system, Traore left the Camp Nou in 2015 to join Aston Villa, moving to Middlesbrough after a season.
