Ronaldo has scored his first league goal for Juventus. The former Real
Madrid player had before now played 3 games against Chievo, Lazio and
Parma, all without a goal.
It however took the Portuguese 50 minutes into the game against Sassoulo to find the back of the net. The former Manchester United man went on to make it a brace in the 64th minutes with a superb finish.
Ronaldo scored 451 goals in 438 games with Real Madrid, including a record 120 in Champions League play. Sunday’s goals project to be the first two of many scores for Ronaldo in a Juventus shirt. His first goal in Juventus shirt was against the club’s junior team.
Ronaldo will be part of the squad which must now focus on the Champions League as it travels to Spain to face Valencia on Wednesday.
