Atletico have successfully avenged their heavy defeat against Dortmund two weeks ago by playing at their ruthless best.
They held Dortmund at arm’s length in typical fashion all game, taking a deserved lead in the first half via Saul.
Although the chances dried up for them in the second half, Atletico still managed to double their lead thanks to a classy counter-attack.
