Nicki Minaj plays down beef with Ariana Grande

Nicki Minaj and Ariana Grande have shut down rumors about a feud between them after fans misinterpreted lyrics in Minaj's new song "Bust Down Barbiana" as a diss.

Minaj gave Grande a shout-out in her newly-released remix, rapping, "And I'm still winnin', Pacquiana, Percocets, popiana, killin' everybody beat, thank you next, Ariana."

Several people thought that the rapper was shading the pop star. However, the "7 Rings" singer took to Twitter to address the rumor.

"There will never be anything but love between us ever," Grande tweeted. "She's been there for me (in real life) every time i've needed somebody & i'll always be there for her. We love each other. Bet."

Nicki also cleared any further doubts by replying, "Not more than you've been there for me behind the scenes. Love you. For life."

The duo first worked together in 2014 on the smash hit "Bang Bang" with Jessie J, followed by "Get On Your Knees."

In 2016, Minaj and Grande dropped "Side to Side" and had two songs together in 2018, "Bed" and "The Light Is Coming."
