Leroy Sane took to Instagram to share a photograph of his young family with a mysterious caption as talks over a new Manchester City contract continue to stall.
The German winger was pictured alongside his partner Candice Brooks and daughter, Rio Stella, who was born in September last year.
Sane posted the caption 'There's a new weirdo every week' along with two emojis next to the photo.
Sane appeared to be taking some family time away from club matters, with work still to be done to seal a new deal at the Premier League champions
Sportsmail sources claimed that Sane's mother Regina Weber, West Germany's 1984 Olympic gymnastics bronze medallist, has caused delays to the extension of Sane's contract - which runs until 2021.
Sane, a Germany international with 17 caps, has not nailed down a position in Manchester City's first-team this season.
However, he was on target in both legs of their 10-2 aggregate Champions League last-16 win over his former club Schalke.
