Pilot who allowed Mohamed Ramadan sit in the cockpit during a flight has been banned for life (Video)

A pilot who let Egyptian actor, Mohamed Ramadan sit in the cockpit during a flight from Egypt to Saudi Arabia has been banned for life.

Mohamed Ramadan had earlier shared a video of himself in the co-pilot’s seat beside the pilot on the plane and holding the controls while they fly from Egyp to Saudi Arabia.

The 31-year-old actor shared the video onSunday, October 13 on his social media page. Mohamed was filmed entering the cockpit, before sitting next to the pilot with his hands on the control wheelbefore saying:
“In a first of its kind, I will go drive the plane.”

Egypt has now revoked the licence of the pilot, and the co-pilot was also reportedly banned for a year over the incident.

“After confirming the violations against the Egyptian civil aviation law, we have taken deterrent measures towards the reckless and irresponsible actions [of the pilot],” Egypt’s civil aviation ministry said in a statement.
