The sonorous voice singer has tipped one of the present-day governors to run for President.

Simi, who is married to fellow musician Adekunle Gold is just the life of the party as she said in one of her hit songs. The Ibadan born artist along with hubby commented on the political gathering held by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State in spite of the current outbreak of covid-19 that has made many governments to ban such public gathering. The leader of the PDP in the state has since replied to the complaints laid by the public thereby making Simi to name her choice for the Nigerian number one seat come 2023.

The governor of the state, Seyi Makinde who happened to be the only PDP governor from the Southwest is Simi’s choice for Presidency after he replied to the complaints as a true and loving public servant.

In his tweet @seyiamakinde, ‘’I have received your complaints about the rally that was held yesterday, and I feel obligated to state in clear terms that we acted based on the information we had at that time. In retrospect, it should not have happened and I take responsibility for that lapse in judgement’’.

Governor Makinde’s reply and his governance since assuming office have made him to be tipped by Simi. It is rare for people in office especially in this part of the world to take responsibility for their deeds.

In a reply to the governor’s tweet, Simi @SympLySimi said ‘Pls don’t change. Except for the better. Pls run for president’.

Simi have made it clear her choice for the 2023 Presidency election and her followers have aired their viewers concerning her choice in Governor Seyi Makinde.
