Watford captain and forward Troy Deeney has stressed that he's not going to resume training if the environment isn't safe.

Yesterday, it was announced that premier league clubs are free to start training in groups this week ahead of possible June restart.

The forward said that he has already lost important people in his life already and he's not ready to put few more people at risk just because of money.

"I've lost my dad, my gran, my granddad... I've more or less everyone that I care about. So that, to me, is more important than a few quid in my back pocket.

"My son is five months and he's had breathing difficulties. I don't want to come home and put him in more danger. You've got to drive in in your own kit, you can't have showers, then drive back in the same dirty kit you've got," he said.

Earlier today, reports sprung up that six players in the Premier League have been tested positive for coronavirus following players tests during the weekend.
