Julen Lopetegui was sacked as Real Madrid manager last year following poor results of the Los Blancos.
Before he took over as manager of Real Madrid, he was previously the manager of Spainsh national team and had qualifed Spain for the world cup in Russia 2018.
He was fired after he accepted to take over as coach of Real Madrid weeks before the start of the world cup.
Spain had to appoint former player, Fernando Ruiz Hierro as caretaker. Unfortunately for Spain, they crashed out of the tournament in the group stage.
He only lasted four months as manager of Real Madrid before he was sacked.
The 54 years old had previously managed Spainsh under age groups, Porto and Real Vallecano.
