Bruno Fernandes Wins Man Utd POTM of August

Manchester United fans been elated since the arrival of play maker Bruno Fernandes. The Portuguese international has been in top form since he joined Old Trafford outfit from Sporting in January.

Fernandes added creativity to the midfield department of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer side which saw forwards such as Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial score double figures goals.

Fans have continued to show appreciation to the Portuguese star as he has been voted the best player for the month of August.

Bruno Fernandes scored 12 goals from 22 appearances for Manchester United in all competitions in the 2019-20 season. Eight from the 12 goals were penalties, as he's yet to miss from the spot.

Manchester United finished in third place to clinch a spot in the Champions League next season. But Ole Gunnar Solskjaer side crashed out of the Europa League in semi final after a 2-1 loss against Sevilla.

Although, Fernandes scored in the game from the penalty spot.

Bruno edged striker Anthony Martial to the monthly award following fans votes.

 

While Brazilian midfielder Fred came third from the votes.

Bruno Fernandes has now claimed Manchester United Player of the Month prize four times since he joined five months ago.
