Dani Ceballos hints at making a permanent switch to Arsenal

Arsenal are yet to receive update from Real Madrid over the future of Dani Ceballos. The play maker joined the Gunners on a season loan from Real Madrid in 2019.

Under coach Mikel Arteta, he has formed a good partnership with Granit Xhaka in the middle of the park.

Following the club's decision to leave Mesut Özil out of the team, a move which has benefited Ceballos.

Although, the Gunners struggled in the first half of the season, as they finished the campaign in eight position, but won the English FA Cup.

Fans of north London outfit remain hopeful that Dani Ceballos will return to the Emirates on a permanent deal.

Earlier this week, the player himself suggested he's coming back to the club. This came after he sent a birthday message for his friend, Joe Willock.

Sharing a picture of himself with Willock in training, Ceballos wrote, “Happy birthday little brother. See you soon", complete with a wink emoji.

According to Sky Sports, Ceballos has returned to his parent club, Real Madrid following his expiration of his loan deal at Arsenal.

The Real Madrid midfielder, 24 would be an addition to the Gunners if he eventually joins after Mikel Arteta have completed transfer of Brazilian play maker, Willian from Chelsea.
