Antione Griezmann handed Coutinho No 7 jersey as Ronald Koeman plan to revive the French man form

It's set to be a demanding season for Barcelona star, Antione Griezmann. The French international has been tipped to be the new talisman under their new manager Ronald Koeman.

Recall that Koeman left his role as manager of Netherlands national team to manager his "dream job" at Barcelona.

The former Southampton and Everton manager has also ready mande his intention of playing Griezmann in a free role.

The Dutch boss has began his preparations ahead of the new La Liga as he has handed Griezmann a new jersey number.

It's been confirmed that Griezmann will now wear the jersey number 7.

And Barcelona took the announcement of the new jersey number to another level after NBA star Kevin Durant has unveiled the Barcelona's new No 7.

Recall that Griezmann joined Barcelona from Atletico Madrid last year for £108million. He has fallen under severe criticism by fans due to his lack of form which he displayed at Atletico Madrid.

In his first season, the Frenchman has only 15 goals in 48 appearances for Barcelona.

Just so you remember, Griemzann wore the No 17 shirt last season. The jersey number 7 last worn by Philippe Coutinho, who left the club on loan to Bayern Munich last season.

NBA star, Durant also wears the No 7 for the Brooklyn Nets.

He appeared in a video posted on Barcelona's Twitter account in which he is seen unveiling Griezmann's new shirt.
