Check Out Final Training Session Of EPL Champions, Liverpool Ahead of Season Opener Against Leeds

Jurgen Klopp and his players will be hoping to continue from where they ended last season with a run of home games ahead of the season opener this weekend.

The Reds finished the 2019-20 season as Champions of the league ahead of second placed Manchester City.

Liverpool lifted the Premier League for the first time after a 30 years wait. It was an emotional moment for the Anfield fans and the entire team.

The new 2020-21 season will begin on September 12. And Liverpool will host newly promoted Leeds United at Anfield stadium on Saturday 12 September.

Marcelo Bielsa brought Leeds United back to the Premier League after a long time and their first game will be against the Reds.

It appears Jurgen Klopp isn't taking the game likely as all senior players were involved in the training session on Thursday.

A surprise was when Xherdan Shaqiri joined his teammates as Liverpool’s preparations.

The Swiss was spotted along side the attack of Salah, Frimino and Mane at Melwood on Thursday afternoon.

Also, the three goalkeepers which are Allisson Becker, Adrian and Karius also took part in their fitness session ahead of the game.
