Things seems to have changed at the Emirates since Mikel Arteta took over as the new manager.
The Gunners endured a difficult spell under Unai Emery which saw the Spanish boss lose his job after the Club were in the bottom half of the league.
Mikel Arteta came on board n January and was quick to work on getting he results as Arsenal finished in eight as well as winning the FA Cup.
Arteta has already signed Willian from Chelsea and Gabriel Magalhaes from Lille.
It's been reported that the north London side are close to signing Dani Ceballos from Real Madrid.
The 24 years old is set to return to the Emirates for another loan spell.
Recall that Ceballos spent the entire last season on loan at Arsenal. The Spaniard made 37 appearances in all competitions for the Gunners, scoring two goals.
“We had some talks,” said Mikel Arteta. “Dani knows really well what I think about him. He was pretty clear with me as well that his intention was to remain with us. Obviously, Real Madrid is involved there and I don’t know yet what they want to do with the player.
“He is a player we are interested in because we really saw in the last few months of the season what he is capable of bringing to us.”
According to Goal, Ceballos has arrived London and he has lready started his two-week quarantine period.
He's expected to be available to face West Ham on September 17. Although, Arsenal travel to face Fulham on September 12 in their opening match day.
