Former Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo has been tagged as one of "greatest of all time" following his performances in various leagues.

Ronaldo arrived England and moved Manchester United to winning numerous titles under Alex Ferguson before he left for a then record fee to Real Madrid.

The Portuguese was inspirational to Los Blancos winning the Champions League back to back under Zinedine Zidane.

Ronaldo has moved on to Juventus to continue his goal scoring form with the Old Ladies. He guided Juventus to another Scudetto title which made it the ninth last season under Maurizio Sarri.

Ronaldo was also played his part when Portugal shocked the world to lift the European tournament in 2016. Three years later, Portugal went ahead to win UEFA Nations League.

The talisman scored his 100th international goal with a stunning free-kick against Sweden last night.

He went ahead to add his second to make it 101 intentional goals with a second half strike as Portugal defeated Sweden 2-0.

It's understood that Ronaldo is now just eight strikes away from matching Iranian legend Ali Daei, who currently holds  the record for most international goals.

Meanwhile, Brazilian legend, Pele was reacted to Ronaldo latest achievement.

"I thought we were going to celebrate 100 goals today. But it was actually 101! Congratulations @Cristiano, as you reach new heights in your journey," Pele tweeted. 

Just so you know, Pele, during his playing days scored 77 goals for Brazil.
