There seems to be a Brazilian connection at the Emirates stadium at the moment. The Technical director of Arsenal, Edu has brought in some Brazilian stars to the club.
Last season, David Luiz joined from Chelsea and the experienced center back was instrumental to his country team mate, Willian move to the Emirates from Chelsea.
Also, Mikel Arteta made Pablo Mari deal permanent from Flamengo. The Spanish boss also signed Brazilian youngster Gabriel Magalhaes from Lille.
Former Chelsea star, Oscar has stated that David Luiz and Willian are talking to him to bring him to Arsenal.
Oscar told Fox Sports Brasil: “They called me, they had to call me. Because we have good communication. Sometimes I talk to them. They said ‘come to Arsenal, come here’.
“But for me it’s a little more difficult. I have a contract with Shanghai, it’s a little more difficult to leave."
Recall that Oscar left Chelsea in January 2017, he currently plays his trade in China with Shanghai SIPG.
The 29 years old Brazilian added: “Willian had finished his contract. I was happy that they got together again. And happy that Willian is happy.
“The most important thing is to be happy, regardless of the place. So I hope they are happy there.”
Oscar made 203 appearances for Chelsea across a five-year spell in the Premier League, scoring 38 goals.
He joined Chinese club Shanghai SIPG for a fee in the region of £60 million ($77m).
