Leicester City concluded their pre-season campaign with a 1-1 draw to Blackburn Rovers at the King Power Stadium.
It was a man back from injury, Daniel Amartey, who scored City’s goal, nodding in from a corner, but Derrick Williams’ glancing header 10 minutes from time ensured the match finished level.
Teenager goalkeeper Jakub Stolarczyk started between the sticks for City with Kasper Schmeichel and Danny Ward away representing their countries, and the young Pole had to produce a couple of decent saves to keep the game goalless at the start of the second half.
