The future of Griezmann has continued to spark debates among fans of Barcelona.
Reports from the camp of Barcelona suggest that the French man is yet to live up to expectations since he moved to Camp Nou.
Recall that Antione Griezmann joined Barcelona from Atletico Madrid in a €120 million transfer last year.
The French forward was signed to replace Neymar jr who had moved to Paris Saint-Germain for a world record fee.
He was handed the number 7 jersey which was previously worn by the Brazilian before he left for PSG.
Griezmann has come under massive criticisms dueo to his performances for Barcelona, he scored 15 goals in all competitions last season as the club lost the title to Real Madrid and suffered humiliating defeat to Bayern Munich in Champions League quarter final clash.
Speaking about his future, he told French outlet M6: "Is my future is at Barca? Yes. I don't know why people invent destinations to see if one day they will be right."
"I am very well there. I know I have the confidence of the club and the coach so I am well. It has been a very complicated season for all of us but now we start again."
It's been gathered that Antione Griezmann is still under contract with Barcelona until the end of the 2023-24 campaign.
With a new manager, Ronald Koeman in town, the former Atletico Madrid forward might be looking at "fighting" for a position in the the team ahead of the 2020-21 season.
