Hazard set to miss El Clasico clash as he's ruled out for 4 weeks

It's been a injury nightmare for Eden Hazard since he moved to Spain from England. Zinedine Zidane is yet to enjoy the world class performances of the Belgian who dazzled at England during hi spell with Chelsea.



Real Madrid lifted the La Liga last season aeahdcof Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and likes of Bilbao and Sevilla who were in the race for the title.

Hazard wasn't able to feature for Los Blancos with the Belgian spending most time of the season on the injury table.


Madrid played a goalless draw against Real Sociedad in their opening game and win against Real Betis over the weekend.


Eden Hazard has missed Real Madrid first two games and is currently expected to  miss next month's Clasico clash with Barcelona.


According to Zidane, he remains optimistic that Hazard who made a quick return.




“I think he’s very close to a return," the Madrid boss told a pre-match press conference of Hazard. “He is prepared and training well with the team. The issue is that he hasn’t been able to train much until now, but now he is back training regularly. So, we’ll see what happens."

Recall that Hazard completed his move to Madrid from Chelsea for €100 million (£91m/$117m) last summer.


The 29-year-old has only scored once in his first 22 appearances for Real Madrid.
