Jadon Smith plays down dating rumours with Sofia Richie despite spending time with her at the beach on Labour day

There are rumors of romance with Sofia Richie and Jaden Smith as they took to the beach for Labor Day weekend.

Jaden Smith has been on top of the world, recently dropping his latest album Cool Tape Volume 3.

However, the son of rapper and actor Will Smith has stated that he and Richie are 'just homies' and have been enjoying each other's company as beach buddies for the better part of a decade.

The 22-year-old appeared Friday on On Air with Ryan Seacrest, where he appeared oblivious to the rumors surrounding their beach day.

He responded to the KUWTK creator: 'You know, I actually don't look at the internet, so I didn't see that.

'But, me and Sofia have been friends for like 10 years. We've been going to the beach pretty consistently for 10 years too. But, yeah, we're just homies and we love each other and it was fun.

For Sofia Richie,she recently ended her relationship with Scott Disick.
