University of Ibadan (UI) has been named among the top 500 varsities in the world according to the 2021 Times Higher Education (THE) rankings.
THE released its rankings for the year 2021 on Tuesday September 2nd 2020.
Unive4of Ibadan emerged in the 401- 500 band and the best in West Africa, it's understood that the rating comes as the institution’s best in comparison to its previous numbers over the years.
While figures for 2016, 2017, and 2018 ranked the institution in the 601-800, 801-1000, and 801-1000 respectively, UI emerged in the 601-800 and 501-600 band for 2019 and 2020 accordingly.
