It's been a fitness issue for Gareth Bale over the years since he moved to Real Madrid seven years ago.
He was frozen out of Zinedine Zidane match day squad most times, although the French manager usually states that there was no rift between him and the player but he doesn't fit in his plan technically.
This prompted a move back to England during this recently ended transfer window.
Gareth Bale returned to Tottenham on a season loan, although he has been injured as he spent three weeks on the treatment table at Spurs.
It's now been confirmed that the Wales international has resumed training with rest of his team mates who weren't called up for action during this international break.
Gareth Bale has been handed the jersey number 9 at Tottenham, he wasn't called up by Wales coach Ryan Giggs as he continues to work on his fitness.
What this means is that Jose Mourinho has a pool of attacking options at his disposal when his side play West Ham next weekend.
