Manchester City will kick off the campaign on Saturday with an away trip to West Ham. The game will kick off at 12:30pm.

Pep Guardiola side will be hoping to continue their run of winning games following last week win against Arsenal and Porto in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night.

Manchester City lost their title to Liverpool last season and this campaign has seen the Citizens display some inconsistent performances.

Guardiola signed defenders such as Diaz from Benfica, Nathan Ake from Bournemouth and Ferran Torres from Valencia.

It's been gathered that Manchester City welcome back Sergio Aguero into the team following a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

He has since started the last two games for Manchester City and he also scored from the penalty spot during their mid week Champions League clash.

Ahead of the game on Saturday against David Moyes side, it's been gathered that Manchester City experienced midfielder, Fernandinho will be out for six weeks. The Brazilian who played as a mid shift defender last season due to injury to Emerick Laporte will miss the trip to London stadium.

On injured Fernandinho Guardiola said: "A leader can be on and off the pitch. He can help us in different ways. The results were more optimistic so hopefully it will be shorter than one month. That's good for us. Being tough is good."
Another sad news for Manchester City is that Gabriel Jesus is not ready to get back into the field. The Brazilian forward has been injured during training which saw him pull out of the Brazilian squad during the international break in October.

The former Barcelona boss have revealed that Jesus suffered a bad injury and isn't ready to resume training.

On Gabriel Jesus injury, Guardiola said: "is getting better but it is a tough injury. Still, he cannot train with us. I know when he will start, he'll be ready - he is a guy who gets the form back quick."
