It's understood that the former Real Madrid star is yet to feature for the Gunners since March. Mesut Ozil last game came against West Ham, where he provided the assist for Alexander Lacazette to score the only goal of the game.
Recall that things fell apart between Ozil and the club's hierarchy after he turned a pay cut as proposed by the club, due to financial difficulties caused by coronavirus pandemic.
Mikel Arteta released his Premier League team for the 2020-21 season and surprisingly Mesut Ozil name was omitted.
Although, the Spanish boss insisted he has left out the Real Madrid play maker for tactical reasons.
The play maker is currently on a 350,000 pounds weekly pay and he's contract is expected to come to an end in June 2021.
Although, it's not certain if he'll get a new deal at the club.
Meanwhile, earlier today, the club posted picture of the entire first team.
Mesut Ozil was pictured in the photograph along with Sokratis and William Saliba who are yet to play a game for the Gunners under new manager, Mikel Arteta.
