Chelsea will travel to the St. James James Park in the early kick off on Saturday afternoon.
The international break came to an end and Frank Lampard have revealed that some players have returned to training while others are yet to arrive due to travel restrictions.
The Chelsea boss has ruled out Christian Pulisic for the game against Steve Bruce side.
He also revealed that Kai Havertz has completed his self isolation after he tested positive for coronavirus weeks ago.
Frank Lampard reports Pulisic is not fit for Newcastle. Havertz's isolation is over and he has been training on his own mostly. Thiago Silva has just landed back in the UK and probably won't travel to Newcastle. Some other players are only arriving back today.
Lampard also revealed that Mason Mount is one of the players who returned to Chelsea training this afternoon.
But the manager believes that English international who played for England in their UEFA Nations League games can coup with the workload of international break and club football.
