When you talk about great managers in the football world, one would mention Pep Guardiola, Jose Mourinho, Arsene Wenger, Alex Ferguson as some of the most successful club managers.

Amongst the above mentioned, Guardiola and Jose Mourinho remain the two left still in the game of management.

Former Arsenal star, Cesc Fabregas has given his opinion on the two managers, as he admitted that he hasn't been in talking terms with Pep Guardiola since he was sold two years after he made his dream move back to his boyhood club, Barcelona.

If you recall that Fabregas took the Premier League by storm when he was convinced by Arsene Wenger as he signed for the club as a youngster in 2003 haven graduated from Barcelona academy.

After eight years at the Arsenal football club, he got his dream fulfilled as Guardiola convinced him to join Barcelona in 2011.

The Spanish international won four major trophies during his first full season at the club, which didn't include the La Liga and Champions League honours.

With 96 appearances and scoring 28 times, Fabregas left Barcelona after three years back to England.

He admitted that he was disappointed in Pep Guardiola who is now Manchester City coach, adding that he saw Guardiola as his idol.

Asked if he's been in contact with Guardiola at all over the past eight years, the Monaco playmaker told CCMA: "No, no, with Pep nothing at all.

"I don't know if the disappointment with Pep is mutual. Things happened, but I prefer not to talk about it. Pep was my idol since I was a child. It is from him that I have learned the most, perhaps, since I was four until now."

Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho ceased the opportunity to sign Cesc Fabregas for Chelsea in 2014, which the play maker says he didn't regret playing under the Portuguese manager.

"Mourinho inspired me the most when I left Barca," Fabregas added.

"He told me that we had had our issues on the pitch when he was at Chelsea and I was at Arsenal and then when he was coaching at Real Madrid and I was at Barcelona, but that for him, it all ended there. We turned the page."

According to the 33 years old, Jose Mourinho who is now the coach of Tottenham told him about his plan for Chelsea back then.

Cesc Fabregas who went on to win the Premier League title with Chelsea under Jose Mourinho admitted he sees the former Manchester United boss as a friend.

He said: "He told me about his project. I had to go where I thought I would do best, the decision was mine and it didn't depend on what people said. I prioritised the professional [aspect], and today I still write to him and I consider him a friend.

"He helped me a lot at a difficult time in my career and perhaps I played one of my best seasons with him."
