Mikel Arteta side poor run of games in the Premier League has continued on Sunday following their result against Leeds United.

Arsenal travelled to the Elland Road on Sunday evening, which many have tipped the Gunners to have claim three points against Marcelo Bielsa side given the Gunners quality of players against the Whites.

Although, it was the other way round as Arsenal were unable to marshal an attack in the game.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who seems to be undergoing a goal drought, haven scored just twice got one shot all through the first half.

It finished goalless in the first half as Bielsa side looked the better of the two on the night.

The controversial moment came when Arsenal were reduced to ten men, it was Nicolas Pepe who was shown a straight red card for headbutting Ezgyjan Alioski.

The Gunners were reduced to ten men and had to defend for the rest of 30 minutes.

Leeds United will feel disappointed as they couldn't break the defense of Arsenal as it ended in a goalless draw.

Meanwhile, former Arsenal's legend Ian Wright believes Pepe disappointed the fans and his team mates following his behaviour on the night.

"I’m not saying that it’s a proper full-on headbutt but you can’t do that to people in this day and age," the Gunners legend told Premier League Productions. "You can’t get into people’s face like that. Alioski has gone down like he’s really got a proper headbutt but at the same time that’s just totally unprofessional and just poor from him.

"From somebody that has been complaining about not getting enough game time, somebody that has now got his chance and he’s let everybody down."

Ian Wright says Pepe should have done better as he hasn't been getting game time since the season resume. He has only started his second game in the Premier League.

He said: "From somebody that has been complaining about not getting enough game time, somebody that has now got his chance and he’s let everybody down.

"He has let everybody down and I’m very disappointed in him simply because I don’t know who his team is around him but he’s come to the club, we’ve spent a lot of money on him."

The result means Arsenal have slipped to 11th in the Premier League standings.

Mikel Arteta side will look to Molde on Thursday in the Europa League.

The former Arsenal legend concluded that the club has alot of faith in the former Lille star who joined for a club record fee of 72m pounds.

He said:"He’s someone that we have a lot of faith in and he seems to me that he’s not getting better, he’s actually getting more in himself and more frustrated, where you want to see him improving. He needs better advice around him."

Arsenal will host Wolves at Emirates Stadium on November 29.
